Qualified Music Teacher Needed for SEND School in Birmingham
Are you a dedicated and supportive Music Teacher looking for an exciting new challenge? Do you have a good understanding of the national curriculum and the ability to deliver engaging lessons to secondary students with mental health needs and disengagement from education?
A specialist Music Teacher is required for long-term supply cover across two SEND schools in Birmingham, with an immediate start preferred.
The role involves delivering an engaging curriculum and requires a versatile, creative, and caring Music Teacher. The schools have a team of dedicated Teaching Assistants and support staff who provide excellent support to students.
The students may need additional support to develop socially and academically. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to engage students through creative teaching methods.
Candidate Requirements:
* UK QTS with SEND experience
* Specialist in teaching Music
* Ability to follow the National Curriculum and deliver creative lessons
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
* A positive attitude towards teaching
* Ability to build good relationships with staff and pupils
* Excellent classroom management skills
