In this role, you will:
1. Deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that make electrical theory and practice come to life
2. Act as a personal tutor, guiding learners through their academic and personal development
3. Design and assess assignments that challenge and inspire
4. Collaborate with colleagues to keep our curriculum current, relevant, and industry-aligned
5. Support learners with pastoral care and professional advice
6. Keep accurate records and help students stay on track with attendance and achievement
To apply, you will need:
* A Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation
* A teaching qualification at Level 5, or willingness to undertake the qualification if financially supported by the college
* Real-world experience in the electrical field, and ideally, some experience teaching or training others
* A genuine passion for education and a knack for motivating others
* Strong communication skills, a calm presence under pressure, and a collaborative spirit
