What you’ll do on a typical day:
Day-to-day management of the inventory function, taking responsibility for all aspects of staff performance, including accuracy and process compliance
* Support the maintenance of stock accuracy and integrity in line with contractual requirements, minimising stock loss through investigation and resolution of errors
* Regular briefing to operations to support the flow of information and feedback for all business and customer updates and initiatives
* Use trend analysis to identify issues and areas of potential loss, ensuring all corrective actions are applied in line with CI principles
* Chair and attend departmental, contractual and site meetings as required
* Develop strong relationships with internal and external customers to better understand key business drivers and devise tactical improvement plans to support continued growth / success
* Responsible for the leadership and development for a team of Administrators
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Experience in similar role and fast paced environment along with WMS systems knowledge
* Advanced Excel Skills including data analysis, pivot tables, XLOOKUP, and formula creation
* Build relationships with customers, suppliers & other internal departments
* People focus, empathy, engagement and development
* Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise work and consider and validate facts before making decisions
