Job Title: Drainage GroundworkerLocation: London & Surrounding Areas (within 100-mile radius)Salary: £39,000 £52,000 (depending on experience and skill set)Job Type: Full-time, PermanentAbout Us:United Drains is a leading name in the drainage industry, known for providing high-quality service across both clean and foul water systems. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for experienced Groundworkers to join our team and contribute to a wide range of commercial drainage projects.Role Overview:This hands-on role focuses on excavation, installation, repair, and maintenance of drainage systems, including soakaways, sewers, and surface infrastructure. You will also carry out reinstatement works such as relaying slabs, concreting ground surfaces, laying macadam, and laying turf.Key Responsibilities:Excavation, installation and repair of drainage systems (drain laying)Installation of new soakawaysRemoval and replacement of manhole covers and framesRepair and replacement of gulliesCarry out finishing works including patios, concrete repairs, turfing, and reinstatementSupport drainage teams with reactive or planned maintenance tasks when groundwork is not requiredEssential Requirements:Valid UK driving licenceCSCS card (Construction Skills Certificate Scheme)City & Guilds qualification in Confined SpacesExperience using CAT & GennyStrong knowledge of drainage systems and site safetyTeam player with good communication and problem-solving skillsPhysically fit and capable of outdoor manual workSmall digger ticket or trailer towing licence advantageous (training can be provided)Working Hours:Monday to FridayOvertime opportunities availableWhat We Offer:Competitive salary: £39,000 £52,000 depending on experienceTraining provided (including small digger training)20 days annual leave plus bank holidaysCompany pension schemeOngoing career development and progression opportunitiesSupportive and professional working environmentIf you're an experienced Groundworker with drainage expertise looking to take the next step in your career, wed love to hear from you.Apply now with your CV and a short cover letter highlighting your experience and suitability for the role.TPBN1_UKTJ
