Overview

NEET Lecturer/Keyworker - Knowsley, Knowsley Community College. Full-time – 36 hours per week. Temporary until July 2026.

Are you looking for a new temporary opportunity for the new academic year 25/26?


Responsibilities

* Deliver high quality education, training and skills to college students.
* Co-ordinate and deliver teaching/assessment of employability skills, PHSE and Tutorial in Foundation Learning.
* Support foundation learning students in achieving their qualifications.


The Successful Candidate Must Have

* Level 4 qualification in a relevant subject area
* PGCE/ Cert.Ed. qualification or relevant teaching qualification, or be willing to complete within 12 months from appointment
* GCSE English & Maths (A*-C)
* Experience of teaching and/or assessing
* Experience of working with disengaged young people
* Experience working with external agencies and parent/carers
* Experience of working with learners with challenging behaviour or complex needs
