Do you have a love of golf and want to contribute to transformational change within the game in Scotland? Candidates are now being sought for a Non‑Executive Director role on the Board of Scottish Golf Limited.
Scottish Golf is the governing body for the amateur game in Scotland, established in 2015 and serves a membership of 566 golf clubs across Scotland.
Our commitments to the game are to make golf Scotland's game for everyone, where we inspire a nation to love the sport in all its forms and contribute to a healthier and more inclusive game for the future.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to the CEO and Chair as required.
* Leverage legal expertise to advise on governance and regulatory matters.
* Contribute to strategic planning and decision‑making at Board level.
* Represent Scottish Golf in national and regional golf events.
Qualifications
* Legal background with expertise relevant to sports governance.
* Strong strategic experience from professional career and/or within the golf game.
* Experience of operating at Board level desirable.
* Passionate about sport, forward‑thinking, self‑motivated and embrace technology.
