Job Overview
We are excited to be offering an opportunity for an art psychotherapist to join us for a day a week at our base in Chelmsford, Essex. This is a fixed term contract until 31/12/2026. The primary duties include the psychological assessment of clients on our waiting list and the delivery of art psychotherapy.
Job Duties
We are looking for someone competent and experienced in delivering art psychotherapy assessments and interventions within the context of the NHS. Experience of offering consultations and developing clinical formulations to meet the needs of clients with personality disorders, psychosis, and other complex presentations is essential. The successful candidate will have experience working with clients who experience severe emotional disturbance, often with a history of trauma and multiple morbidities. The post-holder will be expected to contribute to multidisciplinary treatment planning, research, audit and service evaluation.
Qualifications
Competence and experience in art psychotherapy delivery; clinical formulation for complex presentations; ability to work with severely distressed clients, history of trauma and comorbidities.
