White Horse Employment are partnering with a well-established and growing construction business on the recruitment of a Head of Finance. This is a brand-new role created due to business growth, offering a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the finance function and put your own mark on the business while providing strategic input to senior leadership.

What you’ll be doing
* Oversee accurate financial reporting, compliance, and statutory obligations
* Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow to support business decisions
* Drive process improvements and maintain strong financial controls
* Take ownership of aged debt, working capital, and treasury matters
* Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team
* Partner with leadership to provide insight and influence strategic growth
About You
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Strong background in financial reporting, planning, and cashflow management
* Experience improving processes and implementing controls in a growing business
* Confident working with senior stakeholders and supporting strategic decision‑making
* Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team
* Highly organised with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Experience in the construction sector is desirable
