Warehouse First Line Manager
We are recruiting for a Warehouse First Line Manager to join our Iceland team at our chilled and frozen site in Swindon. As a Warehouse First Line Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring and driving efficient operational performance, whilst maintaining strong communications with the on-site management team.
This is a full time, 12 month fixed term contract, working an any 5 from 7 rotating shift pattern of, 07:00 till 15:00 and 15:00 till 23:00.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day
* Lead a team of colleagues to operational success in our temperature-controlled warehouse
* Set daily and weekly KPIs and ensure that these are always being met and exceeded
* Maximise productivity and improve quality in order to grow your team
* Lead HR requirements in relation to investigation, disciplinary, grievance and absence management
What You Need To Succeed At GXO
* Proven experience in managing an operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment (ideally a grocery operation)
* The ability to lead continuous improvement projects whilst demonstrating excellent planning skills
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement
