Objective
We are currently looking to hire a professional Class 1 (C+E) Day Driver for our West Auckland Depot.
Notes
Note: We are not accepting applications from Newly Qualified Drivers with less than 12 months’ Commercial Class 1 (C+E) Driving experience.
Responsibilities
* Ensuring vehicles comply with legal requirements, reporting issues to your DC team
* Ensure the security and accuracy of delivery of the loads in your charge
* Following delivery instructions accurately and effectively
* Drive in a safe and efficient manner
* Comply with health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
Qualifications
* Preferred Experience: Curtainside Trailers
* Preferred Experience: Paper Reels & Cardboard Packaging
* Preferred Experience: Ratchet Strapping
* Licence: You must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, hold a UK digital tachograph card and a full DQC (CPC) card
Compensation & Benefits
* Estimated Gross Annual Earnings: Monday to Friday Days – c. £36,300 + Bonus (See Below)
* Bonus: SAFED Plus Fuel Bonus (max. c. £1,000)
* The Above Figures Include: Enhanced Rates after 10 hours
* Up to £5 per day Meal Allowance (Tax Free)
