You must hold a UK Driving License if you live outside Tadley area.
* Location: Fir Tree Lodge, Tadley, Hampshire, RG26
* Salary: £23,400 per year, pro rata (£12.00 per hour) plus Benefits
* Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis
* Employment type: Full-Time, Flexible, Permanent

We are looking for Female Support Workers who are calm, patient, and resilient. You will need to have a consistent approach to assisting the people we support to engage in the interests they love.
Furthermore, as Support Worker, you will be responsible for:
* Daily activities such as personal care, laundry, meal preparation, medication administration
* Getting to know the people you will care for and helping them live the life they want
* Taking personal responsibility for the quality of care and assistance delivered
* Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the people you support
* Helping the people you support plan and achieve short and long-term goals
* Planning and supporting activities, including vacations, learning, and social engagements, always being creative and exploring new opportunities
* Assisting with personal affairs, appointments, and managing daily routines
* Ensuring respect, dignity, and equality for the people you support and their families
* Working in accordance with SeeAbility’s values
We are looking for someone who can commit to 37.5 hours per week and is willing to work on a shift rota covering mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Who will you be supporting?
At Fir Tree Lodge, we support 10 people with learning and physical disabilities, sight loss, complex health conditions including epilepsy, cerebral palsy, and autism. They enjoy activities like day trips, music concerts, bowling, accessible adventure playgrounds, discos, and using the Active Life Centre. They also enjoy their own homes, each with a fully accessible ensuite bathroom, and facilities like a hydro-bath. They watch movies, cook, garden, have foot spa and pamper sessions, sensory activities, and stories.
Each person has access to the Penney Centre next door, which includes activity and therapy rooms such as a Sensory Room, Music Room, Art & Craft room, and Cooking area.

Responsibilities
* Providing support during behaviours to enable participation in activities
* Understanding and practicing health and safety standards
* Promoting independence and developing skills
* Working with other agencies, families, and carers for person-centered care
* Maintaining records and support plans, acting as a Key Worker when required
* Supporting a clean and safe living environment
* Participating in ongoing training relevant to the role
