An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Salaried GP to become part of our friendly multi‑disciplinary team at Elmbank Group Practice in Aberdeen. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to assist our clinical team in caring for our 11,700 patients. We are a training practice with 5 GP and 1 ANP Partners, trainee GPs, 1 ANPs, 2 Practice Nurses, 1 HCAs, 3 pharmacists and a supportive admin team.
Our long established training practice has twice achieved the RCGP Quality Practice Award. We were early to train team members to become Advanced Nurse Practitioners and also have a Pharmacy Hub in the practice. Our team is enhanced by Physiotherapists, Clinical Psychologists, Link workers, Midwifes along with on‑site Health Visitors and District Nurses. We support each other and still prioritise meeting every day for coffee!
You will share our goal of providing high quality patient care, have MRCGP (or equivalent) or be working towards the exam, and be willing to work 6 – 8 sessions. We provide mentor support for those at an early stage in their career, and are willing to wait for the right candidate. We can offer MDDUS cover, an allocated mentor, a study leave allowance and a training budget. We are more focused on hiring the right personality to join the team rather than looking for specific experience – Enthusiasm, love of learning and teaching, desire to look after our patients and willingness to work with our Multi Disciplinary Team to enhance patient services is paramount.
