Job Overview
Crèche Assistant – Hemel Hempstead, Fixed Term, Part‑time (8 hours per week). Salary: £27,248 pro rata. Working hours: Monday 16:00‑18:00, Friday 16:00‑18:00, Saturday 09:00‑13:00.
Responsibilities
* Take reasonable care of yourself and others while complying with Health and Safety policy at all times.
* Create a safe, clean, tidy, secure and stimulating crèche environment.
* Consider children’s physical, emotional, intellectual, social and psychological development through play and education.
* Provide equipment for play and education.
* Ensure the crèche is safe, clean and tidy at all times.
* Liaise with parents and carers regularly in an informative and appropriate manner.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a crèche environment.
* Qualified to NNEB, NVQ Level3, BTEC.
* Ideally also qualified to EYPS, Paediatric First Aid.
* Available to work shifts between the hours of 09:00‑13:00.
