Property Solicitor Faversham, Kent Are you a Property Solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE and confident in handling residential transactions from start to finish? This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Property Solicitor to join a busy, client-focused team. The Role You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including: Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases. Drafting and reviewing contract packs. Drafting enquiries and reviewing/replying to searches and enquiries. Reviewing and reporting on mortgage offers. Drafting comprehensive reports to clients. Preparing auction packs and completing auction purchases. Handling re-mortgages and transfers of equity. Dealing with new build purchases, shared ownership, Help to Buy redemptions, and Help to Buy ISAs/LISAs. You should be comfortable managing files from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion, ensuring accuracy and client satisfaction throughout. Key Requirements Qualified Solicitor with 2 years’ PQE (preferred). Strong technical knowledge of the conveyancing process and residential property law. Thorough understanding of compliance requirements, including: AML risk assessment Source of funds/wealth KYC and CDD checks Experience of drafting clear, accurate legal documentation. Ability to manage a caseload independently while contributing to a collaborative team. Up to date with relevant legislation, including Money Laundering Regulations, GDPR, compliance standards, and financial prudence. Experience with new build and shared ownership work desirable. Flexible, approachable, and willing to work closely with colleagues across the team. What’s on Offer Competitive salary of £40,000 – £55,000, depending on experience.
