We are seeking a self-motivated, flexible, and committed individual to take responsibility for the planning and management of accreditation processes in the University of St Andrews Business School. This includes School- and programme-level accreditations.
The post-holder will manage the delivery of all activities in relation to the School’s accreditation and re-accreditation processes, in particular for the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), and Association of MBAs (AMBA), including the application process, the submission of annual reports, developing working relationships with the accreditation bodies, briefing relevant stakeholders, and coordinating accreditation visits and reviews. They will also lead on the development and implementation of data management systems in collaboration with the University’s Planning team. The Accreditation Manager will advise the School’s Executive Team to ensure that actions raised through reviews and visits are addressed and embedded in strategic and operational plans.
The Accreditation Manager will work closely with the Dean, the School Manager, and the academic lead for accreditations in the School as well as with colleagues in relevant University service units, particularly Planning.
The successful candidate will join a vibrant international community of staff and students as part of a dynamic and friendly team in the beautiful surroundings of St Andrews.
Candidates must have knowledge and understanding of quality assurance and accreditation standards. The role requires excellent communication skills at all levels, writing and editing skills, project management skills, and a high attention to detail.
