Salary: £25,604.80 per annum + excellent benefits and significant gratuity

Hours: Full-time (worked 5 out of 7 days, including evenings and weekends)

We are seeking a passionate Commis Chef to join our talented kitchen team at our award-winning 2 AA Rosette restaurant. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your culinary career in a unique and inspiring setting.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team, working across the Estate, united by a shared ambition to deliver exceptional food experiences. Our menus change with the seasons, highlighting the very best organic farm produce and rare breed meats, milk, and cheese – all crafted with care and creativity.

Key Responsibilities
Assist senior chefs with preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes
Ensure mise en place is completed and kitchen sections are kept organized
Monitor food stocks and minimize wastage
Follow hygiene and cleaning schedules
Accept and store deliveries
Collaborate with colleagues across departments during busy periods
What you will bring
Genuine passion for food and delivering exceptional dining experiences
Can-do attitude and enthusiasm for learning
Basic kitchen experience and knife skills (advantageous but not essential)
Team spirit, sense of fun, and focus on quality and consistency
Ideally, experience in a 2 AA Rosette restaurant or a drive to work towards it
Great attention to detail and pride in your work
