We would welcome applications from suitably qualified and experienced childcare candidates for our Pre-School Room Supervisor
Essential Criteria
* Applicants must hold their Level 3 in Childcare & Education (CCLD) or Equivalent
* Have a minimum of at least 2 years experience as a Supervisor or Room Leader within a Nursery/Childcare Setting Pre-School Age working with children 3-5 years old
* Have held an Assistant Supervisor/ Room Leader position working with 3-5 years olds for 1 - 2 years
Desirable Criteria
* Hold an up to date core training in Child Safeguarding/Child Protection Certificate
* Hold an up to date core training in Paediatric First Aid Certificate
* Hold an up to date core training in Fire Safety & Health & Safety
* Training will be provided should these lapse within the time frame of certificates
Some of the duties you will be required to fulfil in this position are:
* Liaise with Management daily
* Working with a team to provide a high standard of day to day care for the children in your care
* Ensuring that there is a safe, caring and welcoming environment for the children and their families.
* Have strong organisational and communication skills to enable effective interaction with staff, children & parents
* Providing age appropriate activities for children on a daily basis with your team to ensure a stimulating yet caring learning environment
* Core training will be provided where necessary i.e. Food Hygiene
