Lyndhurst Financial Management Limited are looking for a (Graduate) Trainee Paraplanner/Financial Adviser to join a leading advising team within the firm that look after a sophisticated/high net worth client bank.
You will be working closely within a dedicated team, liaising with our Senior Administration, Paraplanners and Advisers to ensure you learn all aspects of the role on your journey to becoming a Financial Adviser or Senior Paraplanner.
You will be providing first class administration/technical support, whilst learning how to provide our existing clients with ongoing financial advice as you progress to obtaining your qualifications.
The successful candidate will spend between two to three years gaining understanding and applying administrative and report writing skills, having technical interactions with the providers and liaising with clients whilst using our back-office systems. Upon successfully obtaining a CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning you will spend two further years shadowing and working alongside our Senior Advisers within a team based environment before potentially advising clients on your own.
As a trainee on the advising team some of your main day to day duties will include:
Managing client relationships and key event reminders to maintain active client contact, such as retirement / pensions review.
Report writing
Providing support for client meetings including schedules, valuations, performance reports, key features documents and other information/documentation
Assist and prepare ad-hoc analysis on other investment products (Tax efficient etc).
Assist and prepare ad-hoc analysis on client and prospective client portfolios.
Maintain and refine investment back-office systems.
Assist and prepare ad-hoc analysis on client and prospective client portfolios.
Assisting the advisers with their annual investment and financial planning reviews
Work within a regulated role following the Training and Competence Procedures within our firm.

~ 1 or equivalent honours degree with work experience/internship desirable
