We are looking for an experienced Procurement Officer to join our highly regarded and dedicated Team of Procurement Professionals at Denbighshire & Flintshire Collaborative Procurement Service.

If you have a proven track record in supporting procurement activity and leading on Below Threshold competitive tendering exercises, as well as knowledge and understanding of Public Sector procurement legislation/regulations, we want to hear from you!

The post holder will work under the direction of our Procurement Business Partners and will have the opportunity to have input into a full range of activities that the Corporate Procurement Team are involved in to provide a breadth of knowledge and experience.

As part of the Corporate Procurement Team this role will provide support and assistance to Officers in service areas across both Local Authorities in relation to specific procurement exercises as well as providing general procurement advice in accordance with the Authorities Contract Procedure Rules, Public Contract Regulations 2015 and Procurement Act 2023.

The post holder will be encouraged and supported in enhancing existing relevant procurement-related qualifications or work towards gaining relevant procurement-related qualifications.

The successful candidate will benefit from the collective support of the Procurement Team and be part of a dynamic and highly effective group of professionals supporting best practice procurement and ensuring legally compliant value for money.

The post is hosted by Denbighshire County Council but will provide a service for both Denbighshire and Flintshire Council’s.
