The role will involve fielding calls and providing information to family members, Funeral Directors and Hospitals.
The role will also manage the Service generic email inbox, deal with incoming/outgoing mail and any other admin duties.
Responsibilities
* Provide assistance to the Senior, Area and Assistant Coroners as required.
* Answer incoming telephone calls, emails, field queries and forward to the appropriate staff member.
* Carry out general administrative duties such as incoming mail and scanning.
* Undertake other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the grade as required by the Service Director or as a mutually agreed development opportunity.
* Comply with the Council's Health and Safety Policies and undertake any relevant health and safety duties in accordance with local arrangements.
* Support the Council to tackle Climate Change and meet carbon reduction targets across the services it delivers and in goods and services it buys or commissions from other organisations.
* All staff have a valuable role in keeping people safe. Report safeguarding concerns via the Line Manager, Designated Safeguarding Lead, or the Cwm Taf Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub.
Welsh Language
Welsh Language Level A: All employees will be required to undertake a basic Welsh Language Induction to reach this level. Please refer to the Welsh Language Skills Guidance online.
