Job Title: Shift Manager - Data Centre
Location: Slough
Salary: £60,000 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and qualified Shift Manager to join our dynamic team at a state-of-the-art data centre in Slough. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing operations within the data centre, ensuring its continuous and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and lead a team of professionals in a critical environment, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to high standards.
2. Manage the data centre on a continental shift pattern, providing round-the-clock support.
3. Oversee the implementation of security measures and emergency response protocols.
4. Collaborate with various teams to address technical issues and ensure efficient resolution.
5. Contribute to the development and execution of maintenance plans and schedules.
6. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the data centre.
Qualifications and Experience:
7. Fully qualified in relevant technical disciplines.
8. Proven supervisory experience, ideally within a critical environment such as a data centre.
9. Strong knowledge of data centre operations, systems, and protocols.
