Responsibilities Provide expert clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients in a variety of settings (e.g., hospitals, clinics, or community care). Work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including consultants, nurses, and allied health professionals, to deliver evidence-based care. Use advanced knowledge and skills to develop personalized care plans, addressing the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients and their families. Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of practice, ensuring safe and effective clinical decisions. Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing and other healthcare staff, fostering professional growth and development. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and service evaluations to enhance healthcare delivery. Actively engage in research and evidence-based practice to maintain high standards of care. Contribute to the education and training of healthcare professionals and students. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a valid license to practice (required). Demonstrated expertise and certification as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) (required). Master's degree in Advanced Practice Nursing or equivalent qualification (preferred). Proven track record of leadership and decision-making in clinical practice. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients, families, and team members. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities for accurate diagnosis and effective management. Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and evidence-based practice. Experience in facilitating inclusive care for diverse patient populations, ensuring cultural competence and sensitivity. Day-to-Day Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, incorporating history-taking, physical examination, and diagnostic testing. Independently provide urgent and routine care, managing acute and chronic health conditions. Lead ward rounds, attend meetings, and participate in case discussions to ensure seamless care coordination. Offer guidance and support to junior staff, fostering a positive team environment. Engage in personal and professional development activities, including continuing education and reflective practice. Partner with the community to deliver outreach programs and health education aimed at improving health literacy. Document patient records, adhering to legal and ethical standards while protecting confidentiality. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, protocols, and regulatory guidelines to maintain the highest standard of care.
