Clerical Officer - L/Derry - Public Sector Join a Public Sector organisation in L/Derry as a Clerical Officer, where you'll provide vital administrative support while contributing to an efficient, collaborative and customer-focused service.
About the role:£12.71 per hourLocation: L/Derry37.5 hours a weekDuration: Temporary with an initial duration of 2 monthsPlease note closing date for this vacancy is 12 noon on Friday 19th June 2026 - however you can register your interest for other upcoming vacancies by applying today.What you'll be doing in this role:Undertake reception duties, which will include dealing with telephone enquiries efficiently and with courtesy.Operation of computerised information system.Distribution of incoming mail/post to relevant staff.Prioritise and organise work effectively.Provide clerical support to Social Work Teams as and when required.Compliance with all relevant legislation and Trust policies relating to data protection and confidentiality of information.Ordering stationery as and when required.What you'll need for this role:5 GCSE’s (Grades A-C) including English Language or equivalent or higher educational standard. OR,2 years’ administrative/clerical experience.Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. (This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by the Trust which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post.)Knowledge of computer packages (E.g.
