Overview
We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Care at Home Carer to assist clients with their daily living activities in the comfort of their homes. As a Care at Home Carer, you will provide a variety of essential services, ensuring the well-being and independence of those in need of assistance.
Responsibilities
* Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.)
* Help with mobility and transfer (getting in and out of bed, wheelchair assistance)
* Administer medication, as per the care plan
* Prepare and assist with meals
* Assist with light housekeeping duties (laundry, cleaning, etc.)
* Provide companionship and emotional support
* Support clients with errands and social activities
* Keep detailed records of care provided and report any changes in condition
Qualifications
* A caring, empathetic, and patient individual
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to follow care plans and instructions
* Experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required (training provided)
* Reliable and punctual
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
