About the Role
We are seeking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant with experience in the heating and plumbing sector to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for customers, providing excellent service and technical support both at the counter and over the phone. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has good product knowledge, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Serving customers at the trade counter in a friendly and professional manner
* Offering technical advice and product support on heating and plumbing supplies
* Processing sales orders, quotations, and returns accurately
* Handling enquiries by phone and email
* Assisting with stock control, replenishment, and merchandising
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming counter area
* Supporting the team with general warehouse and administrative duties when required
About You
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in heating and plumbing (essential)
* Previous trade counter or customer service experience (essential)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* A proactive and positive attitude
* Basic IT skills (experience with EPOS systems is an advantage)
