This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to pupils’ progress and wellbeing, working closely with teachers and support staff in an inclusive, supportive setting.
What we’re looking for:
* Experience supporting children within a primary school environment.
* A patient, empathetic, and positive approach to working with pupils.
* Confidence supporting children academically, socially, and emotionally, including those with additional learning needs.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive, trusting relationships with both pupils and colleagues.
* A reliable, punctual, and flexible attitude, able to adapt to the needs of the classroom.
About the role:
* Work closely with class teachers to support learning and development across the curriculum.
* Provide 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils build confidence and achieve their learning goals.
* Assist with activities in literacy, numeracy, and personal development tailored to each child’s needs.
* Encourage positive behaviour and engagement, promoting an inclusive and respectful classroom culture.
* Contribute to a safe, welcoming, and supportive school environment where every child can succeed.
