Job Title: Bodyshop Workshop Controller
Location: Croydon
Salary: Up to £40,000 base salary per annum subject to experience + bonus

The Role
As Workshop Controller you will play a vital role in the smooth, efficient operation of the
workshop. You will coordinate workloads, ensure repair quality, and lead a team of
technicians to deliver safe, accurate, and timely repairs every time.
Key Responsibilities
∙Manage and allocate daily workloads across the workshop team
∙Monitor team productivity, quality of work, and repair timelines
∙Liaise with Vehicle Damage Assessors (VDAs), parts, and front-of-house to ensure
seamless workflow
∙Motivate and lead technicians, supporting performance, training, and
development
∙Ensure all work meets safety regulations and industry quality standards

Requirements
Experience Required
∙Proven experience as a Workshop Controller or Senior Technician
∙Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
∙High attention to detail and a commitment to repair quality
∙Sound understanding of accident repair processes and workshop operations
∙Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
