Street Lighting Engineer - The Role:
As a Street Lighting Engineer, you will play a key role in the maintenance, installation, and repair of street lighting and associated electrical systems. You will ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards, contributing to a safer and more efficient urban environment.
Street Lighting Engineer - Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out the installation, maintenance, and repair of street lighting, illuminated signs, and electrical street furniture.
2. Ensure compliance with IEE Wiring Regulations and electrical industry Health & Safety standards.
3. Conduct fault diagnosis, testing, and inspections on electrical systems.
4. Work collaboratively with internal teams and external contractors to deliver high-quality services.
5. Keep accurate records of work completed and ensure all documentation is up to date.
Street Lighting Engineer - About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of an Electrical Apprenticeship.
2. A recognised Electrical Industry Health & Safety qualification.
3. Up-to-date knowledge of IEE Regulations.
4. A strong understanding of electrical systems and maintenance procedures.
5. A proactive approach and excellent problem-solving skills.
6. A full UK driving licence.
