Your Mission
* Coding! Developing the backend of our software backbone from scratch, with a particular focus on integrating our assets and sensors
* Testing - both software and mission functionality and reliability
* Help improve our Rust and C++ development environment
* Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing innovations to improve our products and processes
* Deep dive the issues to identify, understand, and solve difficult technical problems.
* Constantly be challenging requirements to determine what adds value and what is not.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
* Good proficiency in Rust and C++ development
* Knowledge of autopilot, flight control systems or anything similar is a great bonus
* Relevant industry experience in Automotive, sensors, aerospace, or where real world devices are connected to your software
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
* Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with a strong drive for innovation and continuous improvement.
* Ability to travel as needed to the Devon / Dorset area
* Must be eligible for UK Security clearance
