RAC Mobile Mechanics bring their technical expertise directly to customers' doors, performing car services, repairs, and diagnostics at customers' homes or workplaces. We are looking for skilled, field-based vehicle technicians to join our expanding team.
We provide the van, tools, and bookings — you bring your personality, customer service skills, and experience. You'll have the support of a network of mobile mechanics, roadside technicians, in-house experts, and RAC professionals. Plus, ongoing training and career progression opportunities.
What you'll get with the RAC
* Market-leading base salary of £38,625, with potential to increase to £48,000 through bonuses and overtime
* Full-time hours with overtime paid at premium rates
* Work pattern of 40 hours weekly, Monday to Saturday, between 8am - 8pm

Interested? Here's what we're looking for:
* A friendly, customer-focused attitude.
* Enjoy variety — carrying out services, diagnostics, repairs, and checks at customers' locations.
* Ability to think on your feet — making the best decisions for customers across a range of issues.
* A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
* At least 3 years of practical experience as a vehicle technician in the motor trade working with various light vehicles.
* A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 penalty points.
