Role Details
* SECURITY CLEARANCE: Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance
* TRAVEL REQUIRED: UK travel – several times a month
* LOCATION: Portsmouth (60% office based)

About The Role
We are looking for a Risk and Opportunity Manager to work closely with a PMO team supporting projects and bids throughout their lifecycle – Initiation, planning, maintenance, execution and closing.
How You Will Contribute To The Team
* Work alongside ROM stakeholders and execute ROM process activities, including establishing context and preparing the ROM plan.
* Conduct risk identification workshops and assess the impacts or potential benefits to the business objectives.
* Clarify accountabilities, including R/O owner and R/O response action owner.
* Develop and follow up on successful execution of risk treatment actions.
* Provide assurance/advice to management regarding reliability of financial reporting and transparency and quality of risk & opportunity monitoring and reporting.
* Ensure compliance with risk & opportunity rules, regulations and procedures.
About You
* Knowledge and experience of Enterprise Risk solutions and Programme Governance frameworks.
* Programme/Project/Risk Management skills and track record in complex technical projects including scheduling, risk logic checking, earned value and risk.
* A clear understanding of the values and limitations of qualitative and quantitative risk analyses.
* Proficient user of risk analysis software such as Active Risk Manager, Primavera Risk Analysis or @Risk.
* Proficient user of scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
