About the Role
This is a full:time position starting in September 2026 for a dedicated Chemistry Teacher. The role involves delivering high:quality, engaging scientific instruction across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with a primary focus on driving academic achievement and practical confidence in Chemistry. Key Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification.
* Enhanced DBS: A valid Enhanced DBS clearance registered on the Update Service (or a willingness for one).
* Subject Knowledge: Strong, secure subject knowledge of core chemical concepts, including atomic structure, bonding, kinetics, and chemical analysis

* Curriculum Alignment: Design and implement an innovative, well:sequenced curriculum that builds deep conceptual understanding and scientific literacy.
* Practical Management: Lead and supervise safe, engaging practical laboratory experiments that reinforce theoretical concepts.
* Student Assessment: Regular mark, assess, and provide precise, constructive feedback on student work to accelerate academic progress.
* Data Tracking: Monitor and track student performance data, keeping accurate records to identify and implement necessary interventions.
