My client, a specialist high precision component and machine manufacturer, have a fantastic opportunity for an Engineering Service Manager.
This role is the main point of contact for customers experiencing issues with CNC machinery; you will provide guidance and support and prepare accurate quotations for spares and machine repair. An ideal opportunity to move from an engineering shop floor role, into a support and client-driven position.

The Job
* A desk-based position, suitable for an engineering wanting to move away from the shop floor.
* Respond to technical enquiries, provide support pm troubleshooting machine faults.
* Lead and support a team of service engineers, offering technical guidance.
* Work closely with engineering, software, and production teams.
* Manage the service schedule and coordinate with customers and internal team to coordinate travel arrangements.
* Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for spares, service, and upgrades.
* Strong communicator, confident to deliver first class customer service.
About you
* Proven experience within CNC builds and application of grinding and milling machines.
* Strong technical knowledge of machine tools and controls
* Previous experience within customer support and looking for the next step in your career.
* Understanding of the ability to learn MRP systems
* Time served engineer within a mechanical discipline.
