We are seeking a Project Planner or Junior Planner to join our busy team working on various projects, including rail civils, power, energy, and renewables.
As a Planner at Enable, you will evaluate project timelines, correlate costs and risk assessments, and manage planning systems, policies, and standards to ensure compliance across projects, supporting successful delivery.
1. Manage the integrated P6 programme, meeting reporting deadlines.
2. Correlate schedule, cost, and risk assessments to influence critical path analysis and provide robust plans for decision-making.
3. Lead 'What-if' scenario planning to resolve programme/project conflicts and recoveries.
4. Oversee processes to integrate scheduling across all projects in the area of work.
5. Collaborate with Project Managers to maintain schedules and manage interfaces between them.
6. Support contractor requirements alongside the Planning Manager or Project Controls Manager, including evaluating contractor interface reporting and earned value management performance.
7. Work with project delivery teams and stakeholders to integrate time, cost, and quality data for performance monitoring.
8. Promote best practices in project planning and provide specialist advice to foster continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* Proven achievement in planning and project management within large infrastructure projects.
* Qualified in P6 Primavera planning.
* Proficient in MS Projects.
* Understanding of SSOWP NR Standards 044 and 019 (via e-learning).
* Awareness of NEC Contracts.
Experience
* P6 planning experience in civils or electrical infrastructure projects.
* Experience with MS Projects.
* Knowledge of project controls and earned value management.
* Training or familiarity with Microsoft BI.
* Understanding of commercial aspects in large, complex projects with a proven track record.
