HCS Call Centre Administrative Assistant
Overview
To be responsible for call centre support with call answering, and data entry for transport requests. The post holder will also provide basic administrative support to the Local Health Courier Services (HCS) function ensuring that an efficient and professional service is provided at all times. Working in line with standard operating procedures, the post holder will undertake basic administrative duties and provide data entry support to fleet and transport scheduling systems on behalf of HCS.
Main duties
* Answer routine, urgent and emergency calls.
* Enter information onto the logistics planning system and allocate journeys via electronic means.
* Perform other administrative duties as required to support the HCS function.
* Support the transportation of non-patient items including pathology, medical equipment, medical records, blood and related products.
Welsh language
Welsh language skills are essential for this role. Competency level 3+ in speaking, understanding, reading and writing in Welsh (intermediate level).

Person specification
Experience (Essential):
* Proven knowledge of software packages.
* Experience of working in an office environment.
Desirable:
* Experience within an NHS environment.
Qualifications (Essential):
* Qualifications or Equivalent Experience.
Skills (Essential):
* Welsh Language Skills: Competency Level 3+ in speaking, understanding, reading and writing.
Desirable:
* Significant experience in a similar role.
