Job Title: Sports Coach Location: Sheffield, S6 Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Sports Coach with a passion for inspiring young people to stay active and healthy? GSL Education are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to work within a vibrant school setting in Sheffield. As a Sports Coach, you will deliver engaging and inclusive physical education sessions across a range of sports. This role may involve working with both primary and secondary-aged pupils, adapting your coaching to meet a variety of needs and abilities. Responsibilities as a Sports Coach: Deliver high-quality PE and sports sessions in line with school programmes. Plan and adapt activities to cater for varying skill levels and abilities. Promote health, fitness, and wellbeing through active participation. Support pupils in developing teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Assist with extra-curricular sports clubs and school events. Requirements for Sports Coach: Experience coaching or teaching sports, ideally with young people in an educational setting. Relevant coaching qualifications or a strong sporting background. Excellent communication and motivational skills. A proactive, energetic, and supportive approach to working with pupils. An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply. A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps in the last 10 years.
