A well-established regional housing developer have a requirement for an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team to manage housing developments in Cumbria.
Reporting to a Construction Director, you will be responsible for overseeing 3-4 new build housing sites, overseeing build programmes, build quality, healthy and safety and customer satisfaction across Cumbria. You will effectively motivate, support and manage the site based management teams to ensure that each development achieves the desired health and safety standards, achieve programme and quality requirements and promote the importance of customer relationships to all site based teams to include directly employed and sub-contracted staff.
Contracts Manager duties will include:
1. Overall responsibility for the management of a number of contracts
2. To ensure each contract is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required standard of quality, all of which will ensure client satisfaction
3. To encourage, mentor, and coach the site management team
4. To develop effective working relationships with clients and consultants
5. To promote personal development in your team
6. Commercial awareness of contracts to maximise profitability
