Teacher of English – Permanent, full‑time.
Salary
Main Pay Scale (MPS 1 – MPS 6) £32,916 – £45,352 annually (FTE & actual salary).
Start Date
1 September 2026.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high‑quality English curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
* Monitor and report on student assessments.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress.
* Act as form tutor where designated.
Qualifications & Experience
* Recent experience teaching English to KS3 and KS4 across the ability range.
* Knowledge of GCSE expectations in the subject area.
* PGCE and commitment to ongoing professional development.
* Enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
* Ability to inspire students to reach their individual potential.
