The Global Office seeks a professional, highly-motivated and organised individual, with a commitment to excellent customer service, to join us as a part-time Turing Scheme Senior Administrator. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy, customer-focused environment, and be committed to enhancing the Unit's service to applicants, students, staff and external contacts worldwide. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a flexible approach, enabling you to provide a tailored, and positive service to all Global Office stakeholders including student, academic Schools, Units, partner institutions and other internal and external customers.
You will be enthusiastic about promoting and administering the Turing Scheme to facilitate international mobility opportunities for students and will act as the primary contact for the scheme's operations within the Global Office. Administering the scheme, you will work closely with Finance, Registry, Schools and students to ensure smooth operation of financial and compliance arrangements and to robustly co-ordinate documentary requirements across the board. You will be interested in process improvement, scheme enhancements, and the development of diverse opportunities for all students, including in terms of widening participation to international mobility.
You will be confident at working to tight deadlines and at prioritising operational activities and scheme compliance, including liaison with the external agency and the auditors for the scheme. You will demonstrating high levels of problem solving, numeracy, and record keeping skills. You will also be confident at working in a busy environment where daily operations need to be handled along with evolving queries and requirements. In addition, you will be interested in working with a number of University and Turing scheme systems, ensuring the highest standards of data quality and contributing to projects and process reviews to ensure wider Global Office administrative services are streamlined, effective and customer-focused.
This is a fixed-term part-time hours per week) post for 12 months. Start date 1 October 2025 or as soon as possible.
