Overview
Infrastructure Automation Engineer, Specialist – Birmingham, United Kingdom. Travel to client sites throughout the UK on an ad hoc basis may be required.
Responsibilities
* Join Accenture Technology and become part of the largest and most diverse group of business operations specialists in the world. You will be part of a team which implements public and private cloud technologies and builds and transforms client infrastructure services.
* Perform project implementations including design, build and system deployments, including troubleshooting, security and configuration changes.
* Troubleshoot issues, work with and manage third party vendors, and aid internal and external customers.
* Demonstrate strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
* Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy data-driven insights.
As a Infrastructure Automation Engineer you will be
* Work independently and be self-motivated, potentially leading a team of other Automation Infrastructure Engineers and Analysts.
* Be experienced in Infrastructure Development and Automation: building use cases and creating infrastructure applications using programming languages such as C#, C++, and Python to process data locally.
* Utilize Containerization and Orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable and efficient deployment.
* Have experience with packaged applications and APIs such as Revit, MEF and TMFORUM.
* Build applications to manage Infrastructure operations (e.g., Juniper APIs).
* Engage in Network Design and Optimisation activities and automate cabling designs for edge deployments in Colos & PoPs; automate configuring and management of local networks and integration with broader architectures.
* Manage scalability and resources via deployment of scalable infrastructure; knowledge of containerization, virtualization, and orchestration.
* Develop innovative data solutions to optimize data generation, collection, and processing; collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity.
