Indirect Procurement Manager - 6 Month FTC Salary: Up to £70K Package Location: Basingstoke (3 days p/w in office) Start Date: ASAP We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Indirect Procurement Manager to join a newly formed, centralised, European Procurement team. This role will be responsible for managing selected indirect procurement categories, with a strong focus on General Services and Technical Consultancy. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional who available for a 6-month fixed term contract, and thrives in a fast-paced, international environment and is confident managing sourcing activities end-to-end. Key Responsibilities: Manage assigned indirect procurement categories, with a primary focus on General Services Lead sourcing activities from end to end, including supplier identification, RFQ/RFP management, negotiations, supplier selection, and contract finalisation Ensure competitiveness, service quality, supply continuity, and contract compliance across assigned categories Identify and deliver cost-saving and value improvement opportunities Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitoring supplier performance and service levels Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective sourcing strategies Support procurement planning, reporting, and spend visibility activities Contribute to supplier rationalisation and continuous improvement initiatives About You: Strong background in indirect procurement Experience managing sourcing processes independently Strong negotiation and commercial skills Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities - ideally gained in a role with European geographic scope Comfortable working with suppliers and stakeholders at multiple levels Analytical, structured, pragmatic, and results-oriented Confident working with spend analysis and supplier proposals Desirable Experience: Experience in international or multi-site environments Familiarity with procurement tools and ERP systems Experience in supplier rationalisation and category strategy development French or Italian language skills, would be beneficial, but not essential What's on Offer?
