Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Draughtsman for an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for extension. This role involves working on innovative projects in a hybrid work environment, combining office-based work in Biggin Hill with the flexibility to work from home two days a week. Job Requirements Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D CAD software (e.g., Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting technical drawings. Understanding of design and engineering principles. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team. Organisational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks. Key Responsibilities Create, revise, and maintain technical drawings using AutoCAD and 3D CAD software. Collaborate with project leads to interpret design requirements and ensure project goals are met. Integrate current and new drawings into a cohesive design framework. Review and verify drawings for completeness and adherence to standards. Assist in resolving design discrepancies by proposing solutions and incorporating feedback. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in drafting, engineering, architecture, or a related field. Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ANSI) and technical drawing conventions. Experience with 3D modelling or rendering for visualisation purposes. Adaptability to learn new CAD tools or workflows as needed. Work Environment The role offers a hybrid work model, with office-based duties in Biggin Hill and the flexibility to work from home two days per week.
