A well known university with two campuses based in Cardiff. This campus has parking but is not easily accessible via public transport.
Your new role
1. Provide a professional and efficient switchboard service, responding to internal and external calls
2. Weing visitors to campus and maintaining accurate visit logs
3. Support with general enquiries, taking and relaying messages, issuing access cards and keys
4. Process vehicle bookings and visitor parking
5. Assisting with events
What you'll need to succeed
6. Excellent understanding of how to provide superb customer care, supporting enquiries in a courteous, helpful and informed manner.
7. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
8. Clearmunication skills written, over the telephone and in-person, able to interact with, and manage the expectations of a variety of service users.
9. Experience of working in a customer-focused environment.
10. Experience of answering and transferring telephone calls.
11. Must be able to work 12:30pm to 6pm (Monday to Friday)
