Aircraft Technician
Contract: 12 Months
Based: RAF Coningsby
Hourly Rate: £32.00 PAYE or £43.04 Umbrella (inside ir35)
37 Hours per week x 4 days
Shifts: 7am - 4:30pm / 4:30 – 2:30am
Overview
BAE Systems are looking for an experienced and skilled Aircraft Technician to join their team at RAF Coningsby. The ideal candidate will undertake a range of detailed maintenance activities on aircraft and components, demonstrating a strong ability in diagnostics and troubleshooting
Skills
* Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship in Aeronautical Engineering or a military equivalent.
* Minimum qualification: City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance, or equivalent.
* Must hold a B2 Licence.
* Extensive experience in Typhoon Q and Typhoon Maintenance is essential.
* In-depth knowledge of Depth Maintenance documentation (ESS/IMS) and associated toolsets.
* Strong understanding of quality procedures, processes, and specifications within an Approved Maintenance Organisation (MAOS MIL Pt145).
