Here at Bournemouth & Poole College, we are pleased to offer two opportunities: one full-time role and one part-time role, together totalling 1.3 FTE. for a Lecturer in Foundation Learning. In return you will receive a competitive salary of £30,000-£40,374 per annum, pro rata.
The Lecturer in Foundation Learning Role:
As our Lecturer in Foundation Learning, you will deliver high-quality and effective teaching, learning and assessment to students across Foundation and Progression.
You will work with students studying our Progression and SEND programmes from Pre-Entry to Level 2.
Responsibilities as our Lecturer in Foundation Learning will include:
1. Contribute to the development and delivery of a range of educational programmes, including identifying learning objectives; determining, designing and producing study material; planning course/study programme delivery.
2. Contribute to high-quality learning experiences using a variety of teaching and learning methods in the classroom.
3. Ensure that teaching is based on current best available practice and is consistent with a high standard of practice.
4. Provide academic and pastoral support to students in accordance with agreed procedures.
5. Create an outstanding student experience which leads to progression or employment.
