HGV Class 1 Drivers – Wigan | Ongoing Temporary or Permanent Roles

We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading logistics company in Wigan, offering guaranteed shifts, competitive pay, and both ongoing temporary & permanent roles.

Shift Patterns & Hours
* 6-week fixed rota (includes 3 weekends in and 3 weekends off)
* Start times: Between 07:00 – 12:00
* Paid breaks & Weekly Pay
PAYE (inc. Holiday Pay):
* Monday–Friday: £19.22 p/h
* Saturday: £20.56 p/h
* Sunday: £21.85 p/h
* Overtime (after 45 hrs): £24.62 p/h
Your Role
* Driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle with Box or Double Deck trailers
* Complete store deliveries across the Northwest
* 1–3 deliveries per shift which will include unloading at the store
* Carry out daily vehicle checks & ensure compliance with driving hours
What You’ll Need
* Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
* Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
* Minimum 3 months HGV Class 1 experience ( Newly Qualified Drivers will be considered with previous HGV Class 2 experience)
* Maximum 6 penalty points (minor only)
* Experience with double deck trailers beneficial but not essential
