About the Role:
We are looking for a Project Controller to provide professional project scheduling and controls support as part of the Raytheon UK Enterprise Performance Group (EPG) for Raytheon UK, deployed to the Omnia Training Team.
This includes the generation, analysis and reporting of key schedule and earned value management metrics to support the programme in reporting and facilitate key decision making. Earned Value expertise will be central to the management of the TCIF contract.
We are looking for our team to advocate for and deliver robust project controls, metrics and business intelligence reporting by utilising our various tools to give clear, objective visibility of programme health and we want to build a team passionate about ensuring on time delivery, providing solutions to schedule optimisation challenges and who has a commitment to playing their role in programme delivery and supporting business intelligence and KPI reporting.
Main Duties:
1. Responsible for the development and integrity of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and ensuring that all activities, events and milestones are logically linked, fully resourced, fully cost loaded and aligned to the fiscal calendar.
2. Leading and supporting schedule development work as the programme progresses.
3. Support the Programme Manager and Control Account Managers with analysis of trend data and provision of programme metrics, presenting these on behalf of your programme at metrics review boards and customer meetings as required.
4. Ensure contractual and programme baseline control management is adopted and that baseline change control has a clear auditable trail for change.
5. Support the Programme Leadership Team with the generation and analysis of EVM data, and Earned Value variance root cause analysis.
6. Perform analysis such as critical path, schedule risk analysis, BEI analysis as required
7. Monthly collation and analysis of finance data such as schedule derived Estimates To Complete (ETCs).
8. Support the development of Programme Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Organisational Breakdown Structures (OBS) to ensure effective cost and schedule reporting.
9. Support Bid and Proposal activities through the development of schedule scenarios for impact analysis
10. Support the Programme Risk & Opportunity Management Process and internal Risk Review Board with risk identification, documentation, and risk analysis for schedule and cost impact, including the tracking of mitigation and capture plans within the IMS as required.
11. Maintain a focused balance between the use of company standard tools and the innovative development of reporting through customised reports in Power BI.

15. A seasoned professional in a Project / Programme Controls environment.
16. Able to provide clarity, insight and solutions to difficult and sometimes complex issues.
17. Ability to coach lower tier professionals
18. Experience of and competent in the use of Microsoft Project EPM 2010/13/16, and other Microsoft Office applications including Excel. Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Power BI and an ability to learn quickly our internal EVM and schedule metrics tools
19. Ability to achieve your day-to-day work and objectives with impact and with good written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the business.
20. Ability to work with diverse project teams and stakeholders and communicate cross functionally to achieve the best outcomes for programme delivery
21. Ability to support, guide and influence project teams to ensure programmes are set up in accordance with Raytheon standard practices and processes.
22. Ability to lead supplier and partner schedule integration work.
23. Commercial and Business awareness in a complex projects environment.
24. Experienced working with multi-disciplined teams over geographically dispersed sites.
25. Current holder of, or eligibility to obtain, SC MoD security clearance
26. Practical or theoretical knowledge of IMS and EVM integration
27. Practical experience of Power BI with the ability to evaluate reports, trouble shoot report queries and understand user requirements for new reports
