We are looking for friendly and welcoming individuals to join Sheffield Day Centre, where you will have the opportunity to enhance people’s lives. We deliver creative, dynamic, and person-centred services providing a range of individualised support to people in a Day Centre setting.
Your role will involve collecting and returning service users from the day service to their homes, supporting a variety of community activities, assisting with personal care, and performing other duties as requested by the service manager.
Knowledge / Experience :
* Hold a current, clean, and valid driving licence D1 unrestricted or a PSV licence. D1 restricted (car licence obtained prior to 01/01/1997) considered. Must have been driving for at least 5 years.
* Ability to maintain accurate vehicle and user records.
* Competence in undertaking daily and weekly vehicle checks and basic maintenance.

Shifts :
Typically between 8am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. Infrequent evenings and weekends may be required for specific events.
Previous experience is desirable, but full training will be provided.
An enhanced adult DBS check will be required for successful applicants.
