Position: Occupational Therapist
Location: Huddersfield (Hybrid)

Salary: £35,000 - £85,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Our client is an award-winning, NHS approved practice dedicated to providing high-quality psychological care across the UK. They provide high-quality neurodevelopmental and psychological assessments for adults and children as well as expert witness assessments for the courts and parole boards, assessments in criminal/prison law, family law, immigration law, and medico-legal cases. They have a proven track record of providing high quality assessments and delivering on NHS contracts.
The Role:
This is an exciting and valuable role within a busy service, providing invaluable assessments to adults. This is a hybrid role for suitably qualified clinicians working within the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team for adults referred for autism and/or ADHD assessments. Some aspects of the role may be undertaken remotely; the candidate must be able to travel to the Huddersfield base. The role requires conducting comprehensive specialist assessments including diagnostic assessments of individuals with suspected autism and/or ADHD using established diagnostic tools. The clinician is also responsible for writing up assessment reports in a timely and professional manner, as well as providing appropriate recommendations and interventions. Additionally, the clinician may be involved in supervising and supporting junior staff members depending on experience.
Qualifications:
1. HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
2. Must be eligible to work in UK.
3. Experience in conducting diagnostic neurodevelopmental/specialist developmental assessments with adults.
4. Knowledge of assessment tools for autism and ADHD.
5. ADOS-2/ ADI-R trained.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
8. Experience in report writing and record keeping.
