Your New Role
As a Credit Controller, you will play a key role in supporting international credit control operations across multiple office locations. You will ensure accurate and timely invoicing, effective payment collection, and the resolution of outstanding debt. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams including adjusters, underwriters and legal specialists, as well as external clients and third‑party recovery agents.
Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:
• Monitoring aged debt and maintaining strong cash flow
• Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
• Managing invoicing and payment collection processes
• Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Supporting third‑party recovery activity
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
• Acting as a key point of contact for credit control queries
What You’ll Need to Succeed
• Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable, ideally within insurance or financial services
• Strong understanding of invoicing, collections, reconciliations and aged debt management
• Excellentmunication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels
• High attention to detail and accuracy when working withplex financial data
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial or accounting systems
• Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast‑paced environment
• A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
• Resilience and adaptability, with the ability to balance operational detail and broader strategic needs
